Media Staffing Network proudly announces its new owner, Lisa Fields. With extensive experience in broadcasting and a proven track record of leadership in the industry Fields is poised to usher Media Staffing Network into an exciting new chapter.
Lisa comes to Media Staffing Network with an extensive career in media. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President/General Manager of Broadcast1Source, the nation’s leading compliance software solution specializing in the radio & television industries. Over the course of 16 years at Broadcast1Source, Lisa was instrumental in driving strategic growth, revenue generation, product development, and successful marketing initiatives. Notably, she negotiated and implemented an innovative API-based compliance solution that seamlessly integrates with the FCC’s reporting database.
Before her tenure at Broadcast1Source, Fields spent 15 years at Clear Channel Radio, where she held various roles, including General Sales Manager, Director of New Business, Regional Marketing Director, and Marketing Director.
Lisa’s ownership of Media Staffing Network is uniquely rooted in her deep and meaningful friendship with Laurie Kahn, the beloved previous owner of the company, who sadly passed away last year. Lisa and Laurie shared a friendship that spanned more than 15 years, and it was this close bond that led Laurie to handpick Lisa as her successor. Their friendship and complementary leadership styles made Lisa the natural choice to continue Laurie’s legacy and take Media Staffing Network to new heights.
Retiring MSN VP/GM, Patty Kincaid said “Lisa’s ability to wrap her head and arms around this company and create ideas and innovation for the future allowed me to make a change. She brings energy and emotional intelligence to Media Staffing Network. Respecting history and legacy while creating a vision for the future is exactly what is needed as MSN moves into its 4th decade of service to the media industry.”
Upon taking the reins of Media Staffing Network, Fields expressed her gratitude for the foundation laid by Laurie Kahn, saying, “I am deeply honored and humbled to follow in Laurie’s footsteps. She built an incredible business that has touched countless lives in the media industry. I am committed to preserving and expanding upon her legacy by providing top-notch staffing solutions and unparalleled service to our clients and candidates.”
Under Fields’ leadership, Media Staffing Network is poised for an exciting future, with plans to enhance its services, strengthen industry partnerships, and continue its unwavering dedication to helping media professionals find their perfect career matches.
